Real time web protection disabled

Same issue. MBAB Premium was working just fine then decided it didn't want to keep Web Protection running anymore. Tried the suggestions given at https://support.malwarebytes.com/customer/en/portal/articles/2734677-malwarebytes-3-0-real-time-protection-layer-turning-off-?b_id=15026 and no go. I don't like paying to be aggravated by a program. -
If you use Firefox, there's a addon that you can use, Video DownloadHelper.

Got up this morning and found a warning popup from Malwarebytes (Premium) stating that there was a PUP found. What it found was startpage24.xpi From the log: <file><path>C:\Users\Owner\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\nztyw2og.default\extensions\ffext_basicvideoext@startpage24.xpi</path><vendor>PUP.Optional.StartPage24</vendor><action>none</action><hash>f2d1053330691b1b90f301ca639fed13</hash></file> I Googled for startpage24 with no luck. I'm thinking (but don't know for sure) that it has something to do with the Video Downloader Professional extension in Firefox. I just added it a day or so ago. Nothing showed up in scans before that. If that turns out to be the case, I'll ignore it. System Windows 8.1 64bit Firefox 43 TIA
