  1. Yes, still working but issue is that now on all new PCs I am turning off SPM. If they truly know SPM is an issue then perhaps they should provide sticky at top of Forum letting people know....AND when/if it gets fixed. I would imagine Staff wants users with SPM "ON".....for now I will have turned off on every PC.....not worth the headaches....AND don't see any place where Staff is providing feedback....including this thread where I went to trouble to post all the logs.
  2. I wanted to bump this thread to the to hoping Staff will check my logs. Thx.
  3. Well.....now few days since I turn off SPM....working fine. Have installed on other W7 PCs.....turned off SPM...working fine.
  4. OK....I think VERY highly of MBAM Pro but this says I can remove my A/V.......... https://blog.malwarebytes.com/malwarebytes-news/2016/12/announcing-malwarebytes-3-0-a-next-generation-antivirus-replacement/ I have Windows 10 PC which I plan to keep Defender on but have three W7 PCS with Avast 2017, Avast 9 and Microsoft Security Essentials. I'd like to remove those W7 A/Vs but hesitant........for example, does MBAM Pro 3.0 scan emails ? ....attachments ? MBAM Pro now covers Virus protection & detection ? I get/read that new 3.0 is there is protect against the way "viruses" intrude but what happens if one gets in ? Without a database does it detect "virus" (versus malware) & remove ? The link says..........."signature-less technologies to combat modern threats and zero-day malware". It does not say "viruses".
  5. Here are my logs. I un-checked the self protection module and so far running with no lock up. MBAM Logs.zip FRST.txt Addition.txt MB-CheckResult.txt
  6. I have disabled self protection module and see if becomes stable. I will post mb-check and also MBAM logs tomorrow. While I did not have a BSOD...but rather system lock...........I did see this post on 3.0 issues. Malwarebytes causing BSOD By Sean in Malwarebytes 3.0, March 13 Malwarebytes is causing my computer to BSOD whenever my internet connection goes live. I have identified the Web Protection module as the problem. OS:.
  7. I have several Pro machines.....(3) W7, (1) W10. I upgraded on one of the W7 machines from v2 to V3. It has Avast 9, CryptoPrevent 8, McShield, and MBAM Pro v2, MBAE v1.9 on it....I think MBAE goes away during V3 install ? After upgrade I ran a scan and the system locked. I rebooted and ran scan and went fine. I woke up this morning and system was locked.....MBAM Pro set to scan at 4:30am. I looked a configs in V3 versus what I had in v2 and only thing of big difference was self protection module is ON in V3...was not in V2. Thoughts ?
  8. Thx....I found a good YouTube video on how it works showing CryptoWall........tried to post URL and did not show. Anyway, last question........how does it update ? I assume MBAM will have program update from time to time......does the program auto-check ? I know MBAM Pro does but wondering how/if MBAE FREE will ? Thx.
  9. Yes it does.....I assume by MBAM you mean MBAM Pro with active shields ? Also, can you explain how Exploit looks/works ?......active program in task bar, database updates, only in browser as plugin, what ? I've read the description on the MBAM webpage but looking for a more detailed "in use" explanation. Thx !
  10. I have Avast FREE + MBAM Pro + CryptoPrevent on my home PCs. I've been reading about MBAM Anti-Exploit and was wondering if it has any conflicts with the above ? I use both Firefox & IE11 on home PCs. I use DLink DIR-655 router aling with OpenDNS service. Thx !
  11. I have same problem...woke up to it....upgraded yesterday on 4 PCs.....all showing disabled. BUT when I hit ENABLED it worked. Database shows 2014.10.14.7.
  12. I upgraded my Pro to 2.0.3.1025 late yesterday on four of my home PCs....all upgrades went fine. I went to sleep and had scan set for early morning. When I woke up this morning I had all four machines say that the Malicious Website Protection was disabled. I hit FIX and all four machines protection went back on. As FYI, I have Avast v8, build 1497 installed.....scan runs at different time....one of four machines has V9 installed. I also have CryptoPrevent installed in all machines. All PCs are W7 64bit.....all up to date with Windows Updates, all very clean PCs. Three of machines are DELLS.....different models, one HP. Seems many others are having this problem fro other threads ?
  13. Are you running CP new version v6.x ? I assume you are running MBAM v2.x ? Thx.
  14. I have used CryptoPrevent v5.2.2. with my Avast8 and MBAM Pro 2.02 real time protections. V5.2.2. was one time policy changer..........seems new version of 6.x has some "realtime" protection. Has anybody used v6.x with their MBAM Pro ?
