Malwarebytes and Anti Virus Program

Hello,

I'm sure if this is the right place to post this question. I was wondering will Malwarebytes conflict with the following anti virus program: ESET ESS Version 4, Shaw Secure and McAfee Total Protection.

Hello and welcome to MBAM, icetea:

Until an expert stops by with more detailed information, the short answer is "no, it won't conflict".

In fact, MBAM is designed to run alongside all the major AV programs and typically works smoothly with all of them.

For some of the AV programs, it is important to set up firewall permissions and exclusions in both the AV and MBAM, in order optimize performance.

If you need help doing that with any of those programs you listed please post back and someone will guide you.

And there are some instructions in the FAQ section.

That said, the current versions of McAfee consumer products do seem to take a bit more tweaking of the settings to get everything to work smoothly.
