I was introduced to Malwarebytes freeware about an hour ago and it got rid of a virus on my laptop in less than 20 minutes. I may be putting it on both of the family computers too, since it did so amazingly well. My question is, what other kinds of protection should I download for my computer? I'm not really very computer literate, I mainly just surf the web. Right now all I've got besides the Malwarebytes program is McAfee, which apparently isn't the greatest thing ever. So really I'm just looking for any recommendations on programs that will effectively protect my computer without slowing it down too much. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
