Quick Question

Recommended Posts

If you are using XP or Windows 2000, you need to be logged onto an administrator account in order to update.

If you are using the free version and are on Vista or 7, just right-click on the icon and choose Run As Administrator and you'll be able to update. If you are using the paid version, you can set Malwarebytes to automatically update from the administrator account, no matter what account type you are using at the time of update(s).

If you do not wish to use your administrator account to update Malwarebytes, all you do is right-click on the desktop icon and choose "Run as Administrator" and then you will be able to update :)

Excellent!

I'm glad that you're not infected.

Sounds like the re-install of Malwarebytes did the trick ;) Just post back if that changes (it probably won't but it could happen), and I have another idea for you to try. :)
