If I don't manually check for updates, then about every week or so I'll get a popup that tells me my definitions are 7 days old and will prompt me to update. In my scheduler (under the protection tab), and under the update tab, it is set for "hourly". Why is it not updating? I'm running 1.50.1.1100 (paid).

Hello Mewnlite,

If you could please zip up and attach the log folder that contains your protection logs. The log folder for MBAM are normally found:

Win 7/Vista:

C:\ProgramData\Application Data\Malwarebytes\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware\Logs

or

XP:

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Malwarebytes\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware\Logs

Also, a screen shot of what your scheduled updates settings currently are would be most helpful.

Thank you very much!

Hello Mewnlite,

For the scheduler to execute tasks you will need to click add on the scheduler window to add those items into the scheduler.

That way you can schedule not only scheduled updates but scans at your discretion.

Thank you very much!

Glad to have helped! I assume the scheduled updates are occurring every hour for you now?

Thank you very much, if you have any other issues arise please do not hesitate to create a new topic describing your issue in great detail.

Have a great day!
