I ran MWB from safe mode, and it detected and deleted a few files. When I rebooted, System Tools seemed to still be there, but MWB no longer finds any problem files. I followed the properties for the System Tools icon on the desktop and found a .exe file that I deleted. After that, it seemed to be gone. But on the next reboot, I now have Windows Scan. MWB finds nothing.I tried running Combo-Fix, but it crashes the computer. MWB finds nothing wrong.Any ideas?Az Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
LDTate Posted January 27, 2011 ID:380025 Share Posted January 27, 2011 Please don't attach the scan results, use Copy/PasteDO NOT use any TOOLS such as Combofix or HijackThis fixes without supervision.Doing so could make your pc inoperatible and could require a full reinstall of your OS, losing all your programs and data.Vista and Windows 7 users:1. These tools MUST be run from the executable. (.exe) every time you run them 2.
