Bootup Freezing

Recommended Posts

Three days ago I enabled Protection Module in my MBAM program 1.30.

Since then, bootups and login changes have been freezing in the middle of the procedure.

Disabling the Protection Module has solved the problem.

Can you advise me as to what is the cause of this and what I can do to remedy it?

Regards, Yogi.

We are seeing a lot of problems related to ZoneAlarm, we think. Can you please try uninstalling ZA temporarily, reboot completely after the uninstall, remove all ZA files/services/drivers completely. Then please try the procedure that bugmenot suggested again. Naturally you can reinstall ZoneAlarm after we ascertain whether this was the problem. Thank you.
