mbam db ver 4390 hangs GroupWise then PC

We have the paid version and MbAM updated last night on schedule. When users logged in this morning and checked their mail running GroupWise, they'd only get the GroupWise splash screen that just hung there and they couldn't run anything else. We had to power down the PC. We updated to today's 4394 and that seemed to fix the issue as GroupWise does not hang with that version. Anyone else experience a similar issue?
