Yes, you are most certainly infected with malware. You first step should be to download and run this tool, which will blow away all Norton products on your computer (unless they are older than 2004), which will take care of your biggest problem. Your second step should be to download and install AntiVir for free. Then run the updates for AntiVir, boot your computer into "Safe Mode", and run a full scan with AntiVir. You can also run Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware v1.16, as well as Spybot Search & Destroy.

I will let some of the others analyze your HijackThis log, as I'm imaging computers at GM/Allison at the moment.

Thank you very much GT. I will do that today. I have ZoneAlarm Internet Security Suite 2008 on my machine with Anti Virus and Spyware protection. Do I still need to download the free AntiVirus program you suggested or can I just run the ZA ISS?

You may want to remove Zone Alarm as well, or at least disable the anti-virus and anti-spyware protection. Not that you should be without a firewall, but the Zone Alarm anti-virus and anti-spyware will interfere with AntiVir (and AntiVir is far superior anyway).

Hello Naked Truth and welcome to Malwarebytes. The first step should be to follow these instructions here and start a thread in that forum. That is the forum malware is removed. Getting rid of remnants of Symantec is secondary to malware.
