Sartori Posted January 2, 2010 ID:178781 Share Posted January 2, 2010 HelloJust purchased the full version today, am running it on a homebuilt tower with Win 7 64 bit. Core 2 duo 3.0, 4 gigs of ram, velociraptor hard drive. The install and activation went fine but I've noticed that when you boot into windows it takes a long time for the MBAM icon to show up. After windows boots and all the current icons load it take 1 minute and 40 seconds for the Malwarebytes icon to show up down there in the lower right. It only takes about 30 seconds for windows to boot and all the other icons/programs to load.Only programs that are starting up are Microsoft Security Essentials, sound card software, ATI CCC, and APC UPS monitoring software. This is to prevent conflicts with other anti-virus software. You can manually set the startup type of the process to Automatic and see if you have any conflicts.
