greyowl Posted December 14, 2009 ID:170456 Share Posted December 14, 2009 I use Avira Security Suite and MBAM realtime protection on a XPsp3 laptop.I am surprised to find that MBAM uses more memory than the much larger Avira program (MBAM's program is 4mb and AviraSS is 72mb). MBAM uses 44mb of memory and Avira uses 32mb of memory according to TaskManager. This seems to be strange since Avira SS is a much more elaborate program.
