Every morning when I boot up my HP desktop my anti-virus (Avast Pro) blocks MBAP starting, saying it is is not safe. I believe this is probably a false positive, but have not told Avast to allow it as it may be so. Are there any known cases of a scammer posing as MBAP or should I allow it? What are the consequences of running Malwarebytes Premium without MBAP?
