  1. Every morning when I boot up my HP desktop my anti-virus (Avast Pro) blocks MBAP starting, saying it is is not safe. I believe this is probably a false positive, but have not told Avast to allow it as it may be so. Are there any known cases of a scammer posing as MBAP or should I allow it? What are the consequences of running Malwarebytes Premium without MBAP?
  2. Thanks Dashke, the problem hasn't reoccurred since you removed the block
  3. Thanks. I'm assuming the block prevents that part of my Avast protection from working, so a fix would be appreciated.
  4. When I boot my computer, (An HP all-in-one desktop using Windows 10), Avast attempts to contact apps.api.slimwareutilities.com The results in Malwarebytes Premium reporting "Website blocked due to PUP" I believe this is a false positive. If so can you tell me how to get Malwarebytes to ignore it please? Previous attempts to do so seem to jave had no effect as it still blocks the site every time I boot. Thanks, Bill in Oz
