I spent 2 hours before I had to go to work trying to get rid of that virus and YOU DID IT. I never download anything, never anwer e mails from folks I don't know...how'd it get in my computer? noknojon Posted September 2, 2009 ID:118866 Share Posted September 2, 2009 Many sites are infected and these sites drop a "drive by" infection onto your system -You do not need to D/load from the sites , just visit them or look at them and the infection is passed on - There are now hundreds if not thousands of sites that contain these type of problems -It does not mean you have been to porn sites (or similar) - A simple game or information site can contain these infections -Always keep your 'running' anti virus active and updated - This is your best 'first line' defence -Even programs like Avira (free) can warn you that a site is bad and will quarantine many infections prior to letting them through - Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
