Vista web protection / ransomware

so i guess similar to xp, vista ransomware might not be supported... but what about web protection?

all the background tasks look normal, so i don't think there's anything preventing it... it has microsoft security essentials but i don't think MSSE has web protection... is this a vista issue?

by the way, client lost access to her @stx.rr.com email & we need to migrate her premium mbam account to her new gmail, i've got her license & stuff to confirm whenever yall are ready

As far as anti-ransomware protection is concerned, you cannot use it with MS Vista.
