rootkit scanning on but not scanned?

I have checked my setings to make sure that rootkit scanning is enabled, but when looking in the logs it always says it is disabled.

Am I doing something wrong, or do I need to do something else?

Hello and welcome::)

It sounds as if you are describing a logging issue with the rootkit scanning in MBAM, rather than a problem with the separate, standalone, BETA tool, Malwarebytes Anti-Rootkit?

If so, yes, there is a known logging bug that is due to be fixed in a future release.
Until then, please be sure that you have rootkit scanning enabled in the global settings: dashboard > settings > detection and protection > protection options, as well as in the advanced settings for any scheduled scans (Trial and Premium versions only).

If not, please let us know.

Thank you,

P.S. If your post does relate to MBAM, not to MBAR-Beta, the forum staff may move this thread to the MBAM Support area. No worries, though.;)
