microsoft to launch tool to convert ios apps to windows-10

Microsoft seems to be serious in its plans to make it easy for developers to convert their iOS apps to Windows 10. The number of apps in Windows Store is currently fairly limited and by allowing iOS developers to easily convert their apps to Windows 10, this number should dramatically increase.

Last year Microsoft announced it was planning to make it easy to convert both Android and iOS apps to Windows 10 using a so-called “Windows Bridge”. After the announcement the company hardly talked about the feature anymore and  recently Microsoft reported the conversion from Android to Windows 10 (called project Astoria) would not happen anytime soon. It’s unclear what the reasoning behind that statement is, and whether the company has even stopped working on it.
