Client Scan Log Location

Hi,

 

I am looking for a txt log for client scans similar to the logs that get created using the free, personal version of MalwareBytes Anti-Malware. In that case, the log gets created here C:\Users\[user Account]\AppData\Roaming\Malwarebytes\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware\Logs . Is there a report that gets generated for each remote scan using MEE? If not, is there a way to generate one? This is needed to prove computers have been scanned and cleaned successfully.

Hi Josh,

 

In the case of a MEE client, the logs can be found in:

 

C:\ProgramData\Malwarebytes\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware\Logs

 

This is for Vista/7/8 computers.  

 

For XP:

 

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Malwarebytes\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware\Logs

Thank you for your reply. I looked in the directory you mentioned and the logs here are usually not longer than one line of information which, simply indication system events. I am looking for a log of the details of an individual scan.

My Apologies, I should have clarified.

 

The "Protection" logs are the events you mentioned.

 

You will want to look for "MBAM" logs.  These are scan logs.
