sparky4601 Posted April 27, 2007 ID:3985 Share Posted April 27, 2007 I have a sony viao desktop pc model # pcv-7732 Pentium® 4 1.80 ghz 256 mb ram any idea of how much I can go up to on my ram I would like to go higher than 512 . Tiger direct cant find this cpu in there database to tell me whats compatible? I heard that with some computers you can only put the exact same card in the spare slot than what you have any ideas? I'm pretty sure you'd be good to go up to 1gb. It isn't the processor that needs to support it, it is the motherboard.a. Make sure you buy the same speed of RAM. It should say so on its label.b.
