ok, uninstalled the adobe one you told me to and installed foxit reader (again no prompt for toolbar).  do i still keep other 2 adobe apps that i mentioned above now that i will use foxit?

IE: RogueKiller.exe, RKreport.txt, RK_Quarantine folder, C:\FRST folder, FRST-OlderVersion folder, MBAR folder, etc....AdwCleaner > just run the program and click uninst

I would disable Windows Defender and install AVAST free as your AV

You don't have to do all of that, it's just a guide.

You already have MB pro, you'll be installing AVAST, you've update all the programs,

No, When you uninstalled ComboFix it did it for you.

download avast but when i open it, it says failed to start because its side by side configuration is incorrect.  please see the application event log or use the command line sxstrace.exe tool for more detail.

omg that was more trouble than everything else uve had me do lol.... boyfriend hit the wrong key for safemode.... but now we got it straightened out and avast is uninstalled.

 

 

now back to avari telling me it would interfere with malwarebytes?

I would get HitmanPro's CryptoGuard, it's on all my computers as are the rest of them.
