This is most likely were you got the virus:

Please download the attached  fixlist.txt and copy it to your flashdrive.
 
NOTICE: This script was written specifically for this user, for use on that particular machine. Running this on another machine may cause damage to your operating system
 
On Vista or Windows 7: Now please enter System Recovery Options. (as you did before)
 
Run FRST64 or FRST (which ever one you're using) and press the Fix button just once and wait.
The tool will make a log on the flashdrive (Fixlog.txt) please post it to your reply.
 
See if the computer boots normally now.

Okay, Maybe i'm not as tech smart as the rest, but, downloaded the textxtfile, the saved it to the desktop and copied it to the flash. after I rebooted and got to the fix, I clicked it and it said the txt file had to be in the directory. it. I tried to just move it into the frst64 file on the desktop, but it wants me to run the program on my good desktop. what am I doing wron?

The Fixlist.txt and FRST.exe have to be in the same place, like a folder or the flash drive.

Are you able to download and use the sick computer??

If so make sure FRST and the Fixlist.txt are on your desktop and run it from there.

I see where I screwed up. I removed the first fixlist.txt from the flash. when I put it back it worked like a charm. thanks so much for your help, my friend. here is the fix log

If so.......

Please download and run ComboFix.

The most important things to remember when running it is to disable all your malware programs and run Combofix from your desktop.

Please make sure you click download buttons that look like this, not "sponsored ad links":

Ensure you have disabled all anti virus and anti malware programs so they do not interfere with the running of ComboFix.

Make sure you run ComboFix from your desktop.

Give it at least 30-45 minutes to finish if needed.

Please include the C:\ComboFix.txt in your next reply for further review.

If you get the message Illegal operation attempted on registry key that has been marked for deletion after you run ComboFix....please reboot the computer, this should resolve the problem. You may have to do this several times if needed.
