Malwarebytes bocking outgoing connection of Avast to an IP:

[ahfdr]

Malwarebytes Pro, Avast Antivirus Free.

 

When I enter this site:

 

http://mevduat-faiz-getirisi.hesaplama.net/

 

I get the attached error, a blocked IP. Why?

 

Is this good - or Avast's protection is also blocked and should I put Avast into exclusion of Malwarebytes?

It looks as if MBAM PRO was doing its job of blocking potentially malicious content on that website.

 

No, MBAM is not blocking avast!

It's just that certain AVs (such as avast!) filter network traffic.

So, when the block occurs, it appears to be coming from your avast! process, rather than your web browser.

While some users find that system performance is improved by setting mutual exclusions between MBAM PRO and their AV, it's not routinely necessary.
