Sorry to reply to this so fast ... can someone please help me? My CPU is routinely running at 100% usage and I have ping.exe show up as one of the processes. I have tried running all sorts of maleware removal and virus removal (maleware bytes, superantspyware, avast, trendmicro house call, tdsskiller, ect). When I run the antivirus software it seems to find the problem and then once I restart the computer it makes me restore to an earlier date.

Please don't attach the scans / logs for these tools, use "copy/paste".

DO NOT use any TOOLS such as Combofix or HijackThis fixes without supervision.

Doing so could make your pc inoperatible and could require a full reinstall of your OS, losing all your programs and data.

Please run a new MBAM scan being sure to update before scanning.

LD - When I try to run mbam /developer in the command prompt (with the space). It returns 'mbam' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file. Regardless, I ran a full scan (instead of a quick scan) and here is the resulting log.

Note that two PUP.Bitminer came up and I did not select it for removal (even when I do select it for removal it comes right back).

Double click on ComboFix.exe & follow the prompts.
Notes: Combofix will run without the Recovery Console installed. Skip the Recovery Console part if you're running Vista or Windows 7.

As part of it's process, ComboFix will check to see if the Microsoft Windows Recovery Console is installed. See attached ComboFix Log...

I don't see PING.exe in the task manager anymore. Computer was running at 100% upon startup (svchost.exe was high usage) then it went back to a lower usage level (between 1-20%). I have also not seen any more issues with redirects or random pop ups.
