I'm located in PA. The United States. I went to the site many times today. I just hope I'm not locked out of my account for good.

They'll be a lot of these requests. They changed the restrictions. I had to change mine today too.

I can say from past experience that Malwarebytes only allowed one lifetime license per pc. They never meant that you could use a single lifetime license on more than one pc at a time. It's why I bought 2. We have always had 2 computers.

Malwarebytes has a free version which you can scan and remove threats it finds. For the realtime you must pay, but to remove malwarebytes all you need to do is go to the control panel add/remove programs.

Someone mentioned about Windows 10. I run Windows 10 Pro and no freezing here. It is just my brother's Windows 7 computer. He said he think it does it when updates.
-
When will this be fixed? My brother runs a Windows 7 computer that sometimes freezes, but he doesn't want me to disable protection or load a previous version. He loves Malwarebytes. I just hope you get it fixed soon.

Will the lifetime licenses still work? I hope they will. Thank you.

I found out my own answer. They don't work together correctly. After installing Malwarebytes Norton fails to update. I took Malwarebytes off after that and Norton updates once again.

I have Comcast's Norton Security Online with Malwarebyes installed. Am I going to have any problems or should they work together correctly? Thank you.

I was worried that if I took the computer back to factory settings Windows Update would not work so thank you in saying that it will.

I am wondering now that Microsoft ended support for Vista if I ever take the computer back to factory settings will I be able to download updates from Microsoft? I know they are not making new updates, but will I be able to download old ones like Vista service pack 2? Thankyou.

So, in fact you are saying that nobody can certify that MBAM is doing any job at all , or is doing a job better that some other software...
As a side note, in over 4 years and 3 PC's I never had a detection initiated by MBAM before my antivirus (except web protection, most of them FP's)
Thank you, by the way I love the new Malwarebytes.

Sorry, I am confused. I have two lifetime licenses which I use on a Windows 10 and Vista computer with absolutely no problems with my licenses so I don't understand what everyone is saying. My understanding is that I will be able to use these licenses as long as I am alive. Is that correct? Thank you.

I was recently plagued by this on a Windows 10 computer but Ad Block Plus seems to do the trick.

I have Windows Defender on this computer I am on right now which is Windows 10 with Malwarebytes and Zemana and no problems.
Thank you for your condolences. It was a heart attack. He felt fine before that and his only problem was pain in his leg. So it was unexpected
The problem is this. MSE will not work on Windows Vista after next month. They are stopping it and it is just a matter of time before others do.

It is not the main computer. The main computer is a computer with Windows 10 (upgraded from Windows 7). This computer was inherited. It was my father's. He died July 1,2015, but I've been on it a lot lately.

in terms of protection? I have a computer running Windows Vista which ransomware protection is not available.I am also running Zemana Antimalware. Is it enough? Thank you.

I am left with a message on malwarebytes telling me updates are not curent, No matter if i update it still says that. Ransomware Protection is unavailable too..
Windows Vista

Downloaded adwcleaner which got rid of the problem. Did you ever notice some free tools are better than the stuff you pay for?

Hitman pro says I am infected with some registry key. I am wondering if it is a false positive, because it had more infections listed but when I uninstalled my games they went away. I am running Windows 7 64-bit, Avira Free, and Zam Antimalware. I am using the free version of Hitman Pro. Thank you.

I just updated mine from an old version too. I think you should make it easier to update.
