I just finished binge watching House. I am not currently watching anything.

Hi,
This was a false positive indeed and should no longer be detected anymore.
Thank you so much for the confirmation.

Okay, so apparently Windows defender did a quick scan yesterday evening and nothing was detected either. I googled a bit of the registry key and apparently it's for careueyes as well.
I have a couple of portable antivirus scanners that I run when my paranoia goes overboard, and that app gets flagged a lot. It's never happened with Malwarebytes before, though. Maybe because of the update?

I haven't downloaded anything, so I am confused.
I noticed my laptop was acting kind of weird yesterday. It would randomly go into sleep mode, but I thought nothing of because this laptop is about 5 years old and it's done that before.
I bought the premium. I am supposed to have real time protection. If I didn't have daily scans enabled, I wouldn't have known about the malware. My scan from yesterday was clean. How did malware go undetected for almost one day???? This is very upsetting and I may not renew my license.
Here is my malware scan.
The careueyeslite thing is my blue light blocker app. I think that may be a false positive? I don't know what the registry key is. Please, please tell me this is a false positive. -

I would also turn off the Windows security center setting as well. You see it off in my previous screenshot.
I've disabled both. Thanks again for your help!

Here are the issues.
Rootkit scanning is off by default and a custom scan is not needed or recommended.
Okay, thank you for your help! I will try to run another scan now.

The scans are the same.
We need some info to look into your issue.
To begin, please do the following so that we may take a closer look at your installation for troubleshooting:
NOTE: The tools and the information obtained is safe and not harmful to your privacy or your computer, please allow the programs to run if blocked by your system.
- Download the Malwarebytes Support Tool
- In your Downloads folder, open the mb-support-x.x.x.xxx.exe file
- In the User Account Control pop-up window, click Yes to continue the installation
- Run the MBST Support Tool
- In the left navigation pane of the Malwarebytes Support Tool, click Advanced
- In the Advanced Options, click Gather Logs. A status diagram displays the tool is Getting logs from your machine
- A zip file named mbst-grab-results.zip will be saved to your desktop, please upload that file on your next reply
Thanks

My scheduled scan has taken 4 hours and it's not even complete yet. When I ran a scan with the free version, it only took minutes. Does Malwarebytes Premium run more thorough scans?
Also, I am not very happy with my purchasing experience. I thought I would be charged $3.33 monthly, but I was charged $40 all at once.

to my laptop?
Okay, long story short. I got a virus last year (my fault) and you guys helped me clean up my pc, but I've been too afraid to save anything to my laptop.
Nothing weird has happened since then, so I guess this is mainly for my peace of mind.
Anyway, I really started to freak out because at one point the hacker was able to access my amazon account, even though I have 2 factor authentication on (this was when I was in the process of cleaning my laptop). I think he either spoofed my laptop (I had my pw saved to chrome and didn't require 2 factor on familiar devices) or used a remote device. So, if he decided to f with me again one day, would he be able to do anything if I have a new hard drive? Even if he still has all of my info that he used to spoof my laptop?

I was infected with the Azorult botnet trojan. I can't remember if I saw it on any of the logs, as I kind of freaked out and used multiple anti-viruses when I found out I had malware. I became aware of the Azorult recently though CreditKarma. I did some research and apparently this trojan steals everything on your computer.
Should I expect to have my identity stolen in the future?
All that's happened so far (after I cleaned my laptop) is that I get phishing emails every now and then. I had some really important stuff on my computer, and it is making me anxious knowing that my whole identity may be floating around on the dark web...

Gosh, thank goodness it was just a bug. I just got over my anxiety from when my laptop was infected with malware last month. I was about to have another meltdown. Thank you for resolving the issue quickly!

@AdvancedSetup No, I think my laptop and phone are fine now. I apologize for the multiple threads. Thank you for your patience with me.
I've definitely learned my lesson about pirating.

Thank you for responding. I am trying to do the farbar scan, but it keeps crashing. Same with firefox. I am on my phone now. I will try to upload the other scans at least

Please excuse my typos. Also, all of the scans for both my phone and laptop are telling no threats are found when I know there is.

I don't know what to do. I was beginning to think that my paranoia was getting the better of me until last night. Two pages of my history popped up as in tabs. One was of something I was searched on google (if it's relevant at all, it was something about a permission exploit. I can't remember) and then another was of a message on here. I clicked on that tab and then the page started scrolling up like someone was reading it. I turned off my wifi, reset my laptop and connected to Ethernet in safe mode so I could download the iso windows 10 thing. It still hasn't helped. Just right now I as I was changing the password to my email, the page clicked submit on its own and then froze and crashed. Afterwards a command prompt flashed onto my screen.
My phone has been acting weird too, even though I reset it. I am stressing out. What else is there for me to do? I can't afford to go to a repair shop. Are they even open?

I ended up completely wiping out my phone and data and resetting my router, but I will still do this just to be safe. Hold on a minute*

Sorry for the multiple threads. I just have a quick question. I have 2 step verification for my gmail and when I sign in from my laptop, I get a notification saying that my email has logged into a Windows NT 2.0 device. I know that it's obviously me, but I cannot recall my laptop ever popping up as Windows NT 2.0. Apparently this is an old OS? Should I be concerned?
Keepass users, which mobile app do you use? (android)

It's always a pain to log into apps because my passwords are long. I am thinking of installing one of the unofficial mobile apps, but there are a couple of them. Which one do you prefer?
