Cool. I've done the update fix that others have suggested and I'm now testing with a scan to ensure that the RAM usage goes back down once complete. Will update with results. Update: Yup seems fixed, thanks for the quick turn around guys. bang up job!

I'm glad to hear you guys are on it, is there any kind of quick fix we can do in order to keep mbam running without the memory leak?
