A little while ago i was with a friend, his computer began to freeze and his chrome would go to Adware/Malicious links and scare-ware. once he restarted his PC all extensions were removed and ad-block was reinstalled but would not load on those adware sites. he did a scan and nothing came up. But the Chrome thing was not happening anymore. Any Help?

Hmmm, my friend had the same thing a little while ago. Do you have any extensions? If so, have they been remove by someone other than you? If you look in control panel, you will find will find a tab labeled programs, click under the tab and find any suspicious programs, remove them
