I had issue with this in Mbarw beta and it happened again when 3.05,just wondering if this was fixed or not.I am on Windows 10 home.

Emsisoft Emergency Kit found a backdoor.I quarantined it and had Kevin Zoll check things out.Nothing else was found.My tech support did leave a backdoor a while back because I could not sign in so it may have been that(should have told Kevin this but slipped my mind).Just to make sure my backups are not infected what is the correct way to scan them without infecting my pc,just in case that backdoor was a real threat.Can you isolate the external drive from main drive in some way?I am on Windows 10.

Just for the record I have TAP drivers and Cyberghost installed.Rewards maybe a good idea,but how about some way to keep track of similar issues.This many users are experiencing this problem has it occurred on your system or not.A survey of some sort for beta testers and even after programs are out of beta.

Ok since the word beta was brought up.Beta testers should be experienced and not just out there to get free software.This is what happened to Windows 10.If devs are not getting info from beta testers,or testers are just not holding up there end of the bargain then I can understand why there are problems.This has all been mentioned,but there needs to be a better way to test.Do any of us really think these guys wanna work the crazy amount of hours its going to take to fix this? Lets give them some time on this.Ok heres a good example.I had an installer get by unchecky so I let them know about it and they emailed me and said they confirmed it and they would include it in the next release.It was a delayed install of Pups(weird someone learned from ransomware).I never assume someone else will report these events.

I feel your pain rgam.My system had all kinds of weird stuff going on until I uninstalled Mbam 3.05.Trying out an altenative right now,but would rather stay with Mbam.Were just gonna have to wait it out.As far as slow computers I have a lot of security installed and bootimes are definitely not fast.I just use Glary Utillities and Easy System Optimizer and call it a day(running a hardrive by the way on Windows 10).

Everything worked except Chameleon.Since its whole function is to hide it is not viable as its own program.If you have a way to remove its driver let me know.

Got it.As Chameleon was old Mbam Corporate entry it may uninstall if I download Chameleon,but not even sure it is even active.Worth a shot.Gotta run thanks.Good support and feedback should convince others that Malwarebytes always has your back(give them time to fix bugs).

Can Chameleon be installed without Mbam(found old driver from earlier version).Also leftover Anti Exploit reg key.If I install beta Anti Exploit and uninstall will it remove old entries(same access denied for both) Chameleon and Anti Exploit.Wouldhave asked before,but just found them.

Had to uninstall(to many issues).Still have leftover drivers and reg entries even after using Revo,Cannot even untick drivers with autoruns,access is denied.Should I reinstall then uninstall with Malwarebytes removal tool to remove all entries,or is there something I am missing?
