  1. Very well, I will look into that, thank you kindly sir Yes, everything seems fine now so we can close this out. I sincerely appreciate all your help, and more importantly I appreciate you being a gentleman in the process. Cheers and God Bless
  2. Ok, I will use the Delfix. Yes, the pop up blocker is active, but it does not block Ads at all. You see, I know some Ads are harmless, while others are not, but I don't know how to tell. I think if the Ads are intrusive and get in the way of using a site's basic functions then they're bad, while other Ads do not get in the way at all. I may have to just make the switch to Mozilla. You seem pleased with it
  3. P.S: Should I go ahead use Delfix now to erase all the programs we've used? Is it ok to do so now?
  4. I read it. I'm not sure what to do. Some mentioned http://adfender.com/ which I am not familiar with, and someone else I seen after reading around mentioned http://simple-adblock.com/ It's strange, AdBlockPlus worked for me before on IE 11 and now it won't. What do you suggest bud?
  5. Yes indeed, that it is. I reset IE and the re-installed AdBlock, but with the same results unfortunately
  6. Hey buddy, yeah, I removed then re-installed from here https://adblockplus.org/ and it's still not working. Just tried it on youtube, and the Ads are still showing.
  7. G'd day buddy I hope your day has started off well. Here is the log you requested. So far AdBlock is not working. It's enabled in Add-ons, and I did downloaded it from the AdBlock official site. mrt.log
  8. Update for you: After I ran the Farbar service scanner again to get you the Fixlog and restarted my computer a notification to install windows updates came up and they all installed successfully I was going to try and install Adblock now but didn't want to do anything until I received a reply from you.
  9. I'm sorry, I misinterpreted what you meant at first. After restarting when I did as you said with the Fixlist and FRST.exe I could not connect to the internet. I got an error message stating that windows was not acknowledging my network connection. Nothing I did fixed it, then I called my local ISP and they did told me that was a hardware issue, and to contact HP. So I had to do a system restore dating back to yesterday the 23rd. So I re-did what you asked again and this time made sure to save the fixlog.txt which is attached Fixlog.txt
  10. Kevin, hey buddy Glad to see you. Here are the logs as requested. Fixlist.txt RKreport_SCN_05242015_161923.log malwarebytesresults.txt FSS.txt
  11. Hi, me and a removal expert on here about a week or so ago who was being a tremendous help scanned my system with the programs he said and everything seemed ok, but then every since we ran those scans my windows update is no longer installing updates (failed). I ran Fix it and it gave me the error: 80070057 and 80246008. I requested to have our old thread re-opened, but he also told me to start a new one and to include the log file results from a FRST.exe scan. Hopefully me and him will reunite once again, but if not I would appreciate anyone's help on this manner. Thank for your help and God Bless FRST.txt Addition.txt
  12. Wow, thanks for sharing I tried to install Adblockplus for IE but once it installed it wasn't working. I even made sure it was enabled in add ons. I'll figure it out.
  13. Yes, those same ones still show up, but now that I know that they're more less just false positives I'm not concerned with it anymore Right, I'm not that conversant with RogueKiller, well not enough to always know what is a threat, and what is not a threat. If I see Tr. next to it and it's red then obviously that it's a legitimate threat. One last thing, why do you prefer Firefox instead of IE? After you answer that you can close the thread I want to really thank you again for your time, and willingness to share your wide range of impressive knowledge. God Bless
  14. Ok buddy I will install AdblockPlus for IE, or just switch to Firefox. Can you please answer me just a few questions before we close? So are you saying to not worry about the orphan toolbar and pum.searchpage results in the RogueKiller scan? Should I follow every single step mentioned here? https://www.us-cert.gov/publications/securing-your-web-browser Or is it better to leave the IE security options at Med-High? (I noticed when on High there are a lot or restrictions that interrupt internet activity.) Should I disable Windows Defender so it does not interfere with my Anti-Virus program? I already have MalwareBytes, Malware Anti Exploit, and SuperAntiSpyware on my system also. Thank you for your time and impressive level of PC knowledge
  15. My system is running smoothly. It has no symptoms. Do you believe that what RogueKiller is detecting are false positives? The Orphan toolbar and pum.searchpage I mean. Also, do you believe AdBlockPlus is safe to use?
  16. G'day Kevin Here's the log that you requested. RKreport_SCN_05132015_003212.log
  17. Ok, when I tried to enter Run Line I got an error message saying "Windows can not find Run". It did not provide me with a Log after the Microsoft recovery tool scan was done. The scan found nothing. I included the Logs from everything else The whole time my computer has been running great, but when RogueKiller found that stuff yesterday I knew something wasn't right, or maybe they were false positives. When I scanned with RogurKiller this morning in F8 it got rid of the BHO, but still found Orphan Toolbar, which is said was associated with Norton Toolbar, and also Pum. searchpage. DesktopMalwarebytesresults1.txt AdwCleanerS0.txt JRT.txt
  18. Hi I am having trouble removing orphan BHO and also pum.searchpage. MalwareBytes did not detect it. HitmanPro detected it and said it removed it, but after restart I scanned with roguekiller and the orphan BHO and pum.searchpage were still in the scan results. Thank you for your help and God Bless FRST.txt Addition.txt
