  1. Thanks very much for your help, I may reinstall later to see if your suggestion works. I'll let you know.
  2. Not 100% sure that I tried that exactly as I've uninstalled it now but I unticked that box in Mbam settings. That would be the same, surely?
  3. Yes, I tried all that. It would work on a per session basis but, as soon as you reboot, everything is reset........to default, I presume.
  4. You say that in such a matter of fact kind of way which makes me think that you think that its perfectly ok for an app to circumvent administrative privileges on a users personal computer. How is this kind of behaviour any different to actual malware? So, what Malwarebytes should be saying is that you can use Mbam free as an on-demand scanner but you should uninstall it immediately after use, otherwise, it will display intrusive behaviour.
  5. Hello everyone, I tried disabling some settings, particularly 'Show Malwarebytes notifications in the system tray' and a bunch of other things. After restarting the computer, they re-enabled themselves. After trying this several times I took the last resort action of disabling it in msconfig. Restarted and guess what? Yes, re-enabled. Anyone have similar issues?
  6. Hi, The language is Dutch as I suspected. I am new to these forums but I am involved with lots of others and the majority will not offer support for illegal software and since you stated that you downloaded the operating system, unless you have a valid, legal licence key, I certainly would not offer any help.
  7. Hi everyone, I'm Dave and I'm from Doncaster, England. I'm interested in most things computer related but in particular malware removal. I am currently in training at TMEC, a new school which has been set up by tnthelpforum.com I'm in the final stage of my training now so hope to graduate soon and then maybe help with some malware threads. In the meantime, its good to be here and I'll help out where I can. See you all later.
