Desktop Short Cuts Not Working Menu Items Lost

This is a second post as reply to help offered to get shortcuts working and menu items in start button to return.

I was requested to attach the log files from the following scans: Malwarebytes, PandaActive Scan, and

HiJack This. The log files are attached.

Please advise what next steps to take to take to restore double click functionality to desktop items

and to restore the menu items in my start button.

If necessary I can do a restore from Ghost 9.0, but of course would rather not.
