First I went to the Update tab and updated. Then I checked a couple of recent logs, then I started a Quick Scan.

I got the message "An unhandled win32 exception occurred in mbam.exe [3452]."

I have mbam version 1.50.1.1100

What happened? Is there a problem with MBAM? Do I need a new version?

(I have Visual Studio 2008 installed - would it help to start "New instance of Visual Studio 2008" and try to gather information, if it happens again?)

Also, I was running Windows Updates. Two updates were being installed:

Security Update for Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 ATL for Smart Devices (KB973674)

and

The 2007 Microsoft Office Suite Service Pack 2 (SP2)

Should I close all windows before I start to run MBAM scans?

thanks!

Linda
