Internet Explorer Opening randomly

Hi

Hope you can help me, it seems that Internet Explorer is opening randomly and going to random sites which are mostly if not all advertisement sites. Be grateful if assistance could be given to stop this from happening. I also use Firefox and Chrome Browsers (mainly Chrome) and have no issues with these
