If anyone is having problems with Google Chrome's built in Flash Player such as hanging up or crashing here is a simple solution.

In Windows 7 or Vista go to AppData/Local/Google/Chrome/Application/9.0.597.47 then find and delete gcswf32.dll.

Then go to Adobe.com and install the most recent version of Flash Player and this should solve any problems. Just remember if and when Google Chrome updates to a newer version you will need to delete the gcswf32.dll from the new folder that will be created. One note; 9.0.597.47 is the version of Google Chrome I have installed and it may be different on your PC depending on which version you are running (Release version, Beta or Dev model.)
