I am using MWB 1.50.1.1100 and Avast 5.0.667. Frequently, throughout the day, I receive a balloon message

informing me that MWB has blocked access to a malicious IP. Example entries in the Protection Log include:

16:04:34 Ric IP-BLOCK 212.117.175.194 (Type: outgoing, Port: 54028, Process: avastsvc.exe)

16:04:34 Ric IP-BLOCK 212.117.175.194 (Type: outgoing, Port: 54029, Process: avastsvc.exe)

16:38:21 Ric IP-BLOCK 212.117.175.194 (Type: outgoing, Port: 54903, Process: avastsvc.exe)

16:38:21 Ric IP-BLOCK 212.117.175.194 (Type: outgoing, Port: 54904, Process: avastsvc.exe)

16:53:02 Ric IP-BLOCK 212.117.175.194 (Type: outgoing, Port: 55169, Process: avastsvc.exe)

16:53:02 Ric IP-BLOCK 212.117.175.194 (Type: outgoing, Port: 55170, Process: avastsvc.exe)

16:54:38 Ric IP-BLOCK 212.117.175.194 (Type: outgoing, Port: 55238, Process: avastsvc.exe)

16:54:38 Ric IP-BLOCK 212.117.175.194 (Type: outgoing, Port: 55239, Process: avastsvc.exe)

17:11:19 Ric IP-BLOCK 212.117.175.194 (Type: outgoing, Port: 55653, Process: avastsvc.exe)

17:11:19 Ric IP-BLOCK 212.117.175.194 (Type: outgoing, Port: 55654, Process: avastsvc.exe)

The above log entries happen from time-to-time. sometime with only one or two tries sequentially in time.

The machine has been full scanned with MWB and Avast with no indicated problems. Does this log entry

imply that Avast is attempting to connect to the indicated IP or that some other process is trying to do so?

Also, most importantly, how do I determine if this is a FP? Thank you for your help.
