MBAM 1.50.1.1100 crashes at quick scan

Hi,

my problem: After the update the quick scan stops each time in the windows fonts folder. My System is a Windows XP3. If you need more information, please tell me.

I set the fonts folder on the ignore list. Now the scan goes through. Strange thing, but this solution is ok for me.

Hello hape:

IMHO your move is incorrect, there are solid evidences of rouges hiding inside fonts folder (which maybe preventing scan). Please try following:

1. Remove fonts folder from ignore list
   Please do one more attempt of scanning with (Heuristics Shuriken Disabled) after definition update (current 5406)
   
2. Click on Settings
   
3. Click on Scanner Settings
   
4. Uncheck Enable advanced heuristics engine (Heuristics Shuriken)
   
5. Run a Quick Scan
