Guest Posted November 11, 2010 ID:343046 Share Posted November 11, 2010 Iv just had malwarebytes start blocking parts of avast in the last half hour C:\PROGRAM FILES\ALWIL SOFTWARE\Avast5\chrome\CHROMEINST.EXE Trojan.Startpage / nothing has changed on system recently so dont know why it has just started happening. Guest Posted November 11, 2010 ID:343080 Share Posted November 11, 2010 Please zip and attach a copy of CHROMEINST.EXE to your next post.Strange enough malwarebytes detected it again but it wont quarintine it because of some error, checked file location and no such thing exsist and i didn't install chrome with avast either.I think the problem is fixed now, installed a new copy of avast and no problem's as of yet.
