Malware Bytes Crash

As from the title, malware bytes keeps crashing when I do a quick/full scan. Some full scans got as far as 2hours+ into the scan before crashing, some only went 1hour+.

I tried renaming mbam to winlogon and doing a quick scan but it also crashed.

Any help would be very appreciated.

Hi,

Please try the following to see if it corrects the issue:

• Open Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and click on Settings then click on Scanner Settings.
  
• Uncheck the box next to "Enable advanced heuristics engine (Heuristics.Shuriken)".
  
• Try a full scan in Normal Mode (not Safe Mode) again to see if it still crashes or not.

You're very welcome.

It's a bug in Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware. It should be resolved in the next version of the program. When it's released and you've installed it, you can recheck the heuristics box.

Since the problem is resolved, I'll ask a moderator to close this thread.
