Error Code 2

Recommended Posts

I've Disable the MBAMService cause I don't need 2 realtime malware program running at the same time, and besides it has been causeing conflics with Microsoft Security Essentials. (IIE freezing and the like. Ever since I disabled it the system runs fine.

Problem is a few minutes after booting up I get the following error from Malwarebytes Anti-Malware:

[OpenEvent] Failed to perform desired action. Error Code 2.

I have unchecked 'Enable Protection Module' and 'Anonymously report statistics to Malwarebytes' threat center'.

Any way tio porevent this error form triggering?

It must have something else that froze ie before. Just assumed it must have been my malware fighting each other.

Not sure what exactly to search for.

I'm not sure how to impliment exlusions so I'm hoping for a little mor exp[laining if you can. It would be appreciated.
