Isn't that a malicious Flash code we are talking about now, that is run in browser? And not some piece of malware that is installed/run locally in your machine. AFAIK the Flash 'exploit' is done for when you terminate browser process.

I don't see what MBAM could do to prevent that ;)

Preventing exploits and browser defence in general is a goal but is not currently under development .

Malware IP range blocking is in the works and while it wont stop the exploit , its attempt to grab malware from blacklisted IPs will fail rendering any exploit that gets its payload from these IPs dead . In this specific case the falsh exploit might run but the link will point to a blacklisted IP and wont be accessible .

MBAM 1.26-1.28 will add this feature , not sure which version yet though . Currently a far superior version of active protection is in the works and is the primary project , IP blocking is next .

Another goal is exploitable software scanning , this will scan your system for software with known to have exploits . Old flash , JRE , quicktime and quicktime and other software of this type will be detected by version and if not current , the user will get a warning . Depending on the man power we might also include current links to where current full versions/current patches can be downloaded .
