Antivirus 2008 removal help

Recommended Posts

Hi,

After removal of this Antivirus 2008 virus from my system, my system shows that it's running 38 processes and has 1.43G of PF usage. It's effecting the computers virtual memory as it is almost out of it.

Any way...I'm not too smart and need both your help and patience. Please help if you can, so that I can resume my normal life of websurfing and graphic design and where I am oblivious to such things. (That's not how I normally speak or write, but I thought it would at the very least be welcomed to this otherwise dull world.)

Here is the hijack log file and my malware log ;) . Please let me know what else you need from me.

Thanks, Paper : :blink:rolleyes:

Please update MBAM and run a quick scan again, post that log, then scan again with HJT and post that log. The HJT scan must always come after the removal tool.

Sorry, had to work overtime. Thanks Jean for helping. I'm updating MBAM and than going to run HighJackThis and post it asap.

Thanks for your attention and help. It was very much appreciated at a time when I thought I had no one to turn to. It's very comforting knowing good people like you and EvilFantasy and companies like yours and Help2Go are there for the little guys like me.

Thanks again and have a great day.

PaperJam ;)

Oh, by the way....did I mention that I believe the problem is fixed? Thanks to you and Evil
