Hijackthis and Malwarebytes log

Recommended Posts

Hi

My XP machine started having problems this morning after I rebooted. Fonts looked strange, it would not connect to the home network and router. Sometimes it did and when clicking on links Firefox would redirect to strange pages. I ran Malwarebytes and now I cannot connect to the network at all. I managed to save the Malwarebytes log to CD and I am using a laptop to post this log. I was also fortunate to have Hijackthis on the XP machine with problems and ran that and have a log from that also.

I am sorry I cannot follow all the steps suggested before posting these log files but the XP machine with the problem cannot get on the internet (even in Safe mode) to download and run all the steps requested before posting logs. So I thought I would just post these logs and see if I can get any help before I run the recovery program and completely rebuilt my machine.

Here are the 2 log files. Thanks for your help.

Hi

Thanks for the reply. I understand about the delay in responding. you guys are great to be doing this for people. fortunately, I posted the hijackthis log on another message board and someone responded and had me run TDSSKILLER which seemed to have fixed the virus problem. I am in the process of running other utilities right now as directed so I think I am in good hands and should be all set.

Thanks again for your directions on how to get the network working. I saved that information to a file for future use.
