PLEASE HELP! New malware which attacks MBAM and can't be detected!

Dear Forum,

I have found a virus-infected file on a USB stick. Neither Avast nor MBAM can detect it. It destroyed my friend's computer and he was running Avast and MBAM resident protection.

I became suspicious when I inserted the USB stick into my computer (whilst holding down the left shift key). The reason is that I saw an autorun file AND the culprit 'wyskq6lt.exe'.

How can I send the file to MBAM? I can't upload it here.

- A full boot-time scan with Avast of my system: 0 files or folders infected

- A quick MBAM scan: No malicious software found.

- A quick SAS scan: No malicious software found.

How can I be sure that this piece of malware is not on my computer? What would you do?

Please help me! I am really freaking out!!!

Thanks for the quick reply.

Please tell me how to submit the file to MBAM though to help other users.

I can't upload it in it's current form. I can't zip it either.

Thanks!

Thanks for your help Maniac. I paniced and ended up deleting the file from Avast's chest. Stupid, I know. However, now I know that the file is no longer on my computer.

The bad thing is that there is one more file which MBAM can't detect yet still loose in the computer world.

:-(
