Hi Guys.....

First time posting here although I've read through many of the help threads. Thanks for all the info in the past as I've been able to help out several of my co-workers remove spyware/malware from their comps .

I'm "helping" another co-worker with a slow running comp and have already run through most of the basic removal programs, including:

Ad-Aware

SpyBot-Search and Destroy

Spy Sweeper

Ewido Anti_Malware

I have run those all in safe mode along with a full AV scan with updated Norton AV 2006. Also run on-line scans from Bit-Defender and Panda.

All have helped. I have also run the new version of "About-Blaster" and HS-Removal. Also in safe mode.

However, I am still seeing a quick "About:Blank" label on IE as it closes every time. And the computer is running terribly slow so, I'm assuming that "About:Blank" is still running and eating up much CPU usage.

I'm posting a current HighJack This in hope someone will be able to point out what else I can do to finish "cleaning out" my friends computer for her......

Hi Brandon,

Thanks for your help. Evidently I didn't clean out the system as well as I thought.

Ran everything per your instructions. Wasn't sure so I ran both in normal and in safe mode. Also per your instructions I am posting the reports you requested. As you will probably figure out after reading the reports ( I have faith in you....LOL) both the "About:blank" and the system slow down are still occuring. I await your next instructions.....
