Running 2 programs together ?

Can BitDefender 2010 internet Security run an my system at the same time as my Malwarebytes' Anti Malware ? My understanding is the my BD 2010 IS package does NOT protect from malware ?

Will these two programs play nice on my system if both loading at startup ?

They should run just fine together, you may need to add some exclusions though. Malwarebytes is made to work with and to complement your AV
