Internet Security 2010 Problems

Recommended Posts

Hello.

Earlier today, I began getting pop ups from the Malware Defense program. I quickly uninstalled it (which was pointless, and it came back immediately) while looking for a solution. I then began to experience a redirect virus in firefox, at which point I rebooted my pc.

Now, my computer freezes almost instantly during the normal boot process. I am only able to post this while in safe mode. The Malware Defense message have now been replaced with overwhelming amounts of Insecurity Security 2010 "alerts".

Now, I've heard that Malwarebytes isa good program, however the virus seems to be blocking me from running it (I can download it fine).

Is there any way around the virus so I can run Malwarebytes?

Any help would be appreciated.
