How do I tell if i have paid version installed vs. free?

I have 5 paid licenses for Malwarebytes. But, since I have 5 computers with different users, I don't know how to tell if a computer has free version only or if we have downloaded the paid version.

Also, How do I know which license Id/key I have used or not. I can't tell if they've been used or not and on which computer.

Does the paid version monitor constantly and what is the new thing in the forums mentioned that pops up a bubble when something is found.

The paid version will pop an icon in the task tray (bottom right corner of the screen, next to the clock). You'll also find the ID and key, on the "About" tab.
