ip protection stops and starts

hello everyone and happy christmas to all

I am using malwrebytes pro and am having a problem with ip protection , for some unknown reason in the log i have noticed that ip protection stops and starts on its own , is this dangerous , i am running avast pro and spybot with windows firewall

any ideas attached is a copy of log

It looks like it may be stopping automatically when MBAM tries to update, and then reloads automatically after the update attempt. From the log you posted, half of the stops are right before updates, and the ones that are not look like the IP protection starts up again much quicker so they are probably related to checking for updates and not finding any.

You can test this by manually checking for updates, and check the log to see if the IP protection stops and starts again.

I ran it from the command line and it said it needed elevated privileges. so had to run in Admin mode.

It won't provide a UAC prompt when run from the command line, and the command prompt needs to be run as admin. It should give a UAC prompt when run through your browser, or by double-clicking in Windows Explorer. :)

Hhehehehe, when I ran the command in the DOS box ot said it needed elevated privileges. So I had to close the box and right click shortcut and choose "Run as admin" =)
