Updates

I was just wondering why Malwarebytes has updates every day and are 2-3 MB's.

I do not know of another anti-virus or malware that is updated like this program.

Not complaining, just wondering why this is.

Malwarebytes updates every day because people make new malware every day. Every new piece of malware the researchers find is updated straight away. I think myself that the mbam team are better and more dedicated than most other AV or anti-malware companies. Someone with more knowledge than myself will surely explain it better

To add to what kpgumbo said, the database is downloaded in full each time there is an update. This is normal and nothing to be concerned about

I had been curious about that too, and then one of our Admins posted that in reply on a thread that I read, so now I know for sure that I was correct in thinking that that was correct

And I agree, it is a great program! I love it! I used the free version for several months, and now I have the paid version. Well worth the $24.95 lifetime license fee for personal, home use!
